WELCOME TO OASIS.

“WHAT WAS MEANT TO HARM YOU WILL BE CONVERTED INTO SOMETHING TRANSFORMATIVE AND BEAUTIFUL. THAT’S THE POWER YOU HOLD. YOU CAN SHAPE-SHIFT ADVERSITY INTO A BEACON FOR LIBERATION.”

A SAFER WORLD IS OURS

A sociocultural architect, Eva Maria Lewis coined the term poverty-induced gun violence to shed light on the separate epidemic faced by Black communities across the nation. She is dedicated to creating solutions to structures in our society that perpetuate injustice. An experienced organizer and founder of Free Root Operation, she is proof that your big visions for a better world are possible and necessary, even if others can’t see them yet. She’s not just a catalyst for expansion in the lives of others either; Eva Maria is committed to holding space for herself, too. As a poet, musician, orator, and social entrepreneur—it is her artistry that first allowed her to envision how she could create change. This space is a digital extension of her oasis, a world that is fertile, safe, and filled with possibility.

Let’s Get to Work

From global stages like the United Nations to small businesses and artists, Eva Maria teaches audiences of all sizes about the impact they can make by harnessing their unique power and using it for communal ascension.

BOOK EVA MARIA TO SPEAK

BREONNA TAYLOR’S FAMILY AND FRIENDS REMEMBER HER GREATNESS

Eva Maria uses her artistic expression as a catalyst for change. The culmination of her artistry can be seen through all of her work, but she is most proud of her work with the family of the late Breonna Taylor—a 2020 victim of police brutality. Eva Maria worked with the family and friends of Breonna Taylor to honor her life and legacy on what would have been her 27th birthday. A great honor, she was able to encourage thousands to not let Breonna’s life be lost in vain. Instead, in true sociocultural architect fashion, she encouraged her audience to, “honor [Breonna’s] life by seeing the humanity in each other, like Breonna always did.”
